The mystical origami angel has the power and magic to turn her paper creations into real life beings.

The "skeleton" for the background was done via vectors at first for a clean architectural look, then textured.

Her name is Udine. She lives in a futuristic city of Gathaca, where anti-gravity technology has become available and people have re-discovered the arts and culture of the Renaissance; this is called the age of the Paleo-Renaissance.

Part of my developing story. She is the first character to be painted. This painting took quite a while since I had to paint the city as long as a full figure pose. But I wanted to portray the character in her environment.

Sketched in pencil and painted in PS. Lots of time! Thanks for viewing.

He did not know it was her; he only saw the green dragon on a wild hunt, attacking his village. Even though she understands this, she could not get his hatred out of her mind, his face, the way he looked at her, the way his sword sliced mercilessly across her flesh as if she was an insignificant monstrosity. That look... she never forgets; she could not forget.

Ice Heart

She loved a mortal once. Yet he betrayed her love and turned his back on her when he found out that she was the ice witch. Struck by grief and loss, she was at the point of suicide. However, she did not die. And she survived the heartbreak. She vowed to never love again. She put her heart in an enclosed magical orb, protecting it from all influences of this world. No love, no pain, no mortal feelings. For maybe the life of immortality is such a lonely road to travel.

Sketched and Painted in PS. Took about 2 weeks.

Sword of Fire

For this painting I worked with a fantasy theme. As the story goes, once upon a time, the peaceful kingdom of Azrya was threatened by the dark forces of nature. The Fire Sword, weapon of the First King, was never used since the king passed away.
now the Sword stirs, choosing a guardian for the land. The Chosen was a Crane-Spirit mage. With the power of the Fire Sword and her dragon Kyl, she helped Azrya battled against evil.
